A Letter from Tobias

Every year when you are putting up the lights, standing on tall ladders, strapping yourself with a rope to a huge star on top of the roof, you ask yourself, "Is this really worth it?". Every year it has been and this year it has been confirmed by a letter from Tobias who is 12 years old and lives in Switzerland (Who also let me know that it is a country in Europe). This little display I created 5 years ago has grown into something I never imagined with people watching it all over the world.

Thank You Tobias for your kind words and the picture you drew for our family is awesome! I can't believe all the details you drew including the guy wires that extend past the base of the tree! Have you been in my yard? :) Whenever I need to look at my house to think of what new things I can do, I will be sure to look at your drawing. It inspires me!
